About Pompompurin
Pompompurin, also known as Pudding Dog, is a golden retriever resembling pudding and one of Sanrio's most well-known characters. He was born on April 16, 1996. Pompompurin resides in a basket of his own in the front hall of the home of his sister-owner. He always wears his trademark brown beret atop his head. Pompompurin has a laidback demeanor and loves the phrase 'let's go out!'. He loves milk, anything soft, and his mama's cream caramel puddings.

- Birthday: April 16
- He was voted "Most Popular Sanrio Character" three times for the years 1997, 2015 and 2016 in The Strawberry News, a magazine published by Sanrio.
- According to his profile, Pompompurin is five big puddings tall and weighs one watermelon. However, some media depicted much larger sizes.
- The Japanese Wikipedia article lists Akiko Jii (Credited for creating Keroppi and designing merchandise for MINNA NO TABO) as Pompompurin's official designer, but this has yet to be confirmed by Sanrio.
- The hacker behind the notorious 2021 FBI E-Mail Hack and the owner of BreachForums used Pompompurin as an alias.
